National Lotteries Authority

The Veterans Association of  Ghana (VAG) and National Lotteries Authority (NLA) signed memorandum of understanding with an amount of GHC 220 million in support of their activities.

Mr.  Kofi Osei Ameyaw, the Director General of Ghana National lotteries emphasized that, "Today is an historic occasion because, VAG an act of parliament has been given the powers to manage and control VAG lottery".

According him, NLA by virtue of an act, parliament  has also been mandated to regulate ,manage and conduct lottery in the country.

In the passed, there were challenges in terms of judiciary areas of work. We can see the friendship develop in so many ways. In one way, NLA has always been ready to stand firm to support VAG. On the other hand, there has been a time we have seen both institutions in court fighting over checks.
