We'll qualify should we replicate same performance - Saddick Adams

Speaking to Kumasi based Light FM earlier this morning, the attacker was unreasonably optimistic the Porcupine Warriors could advance to the next phase of the competition in spite of a narrow win recorded at the  Baba Yara Sports Stadium yesterday.

"It is one of those things in football. You don't always get what you wish for but I'm glad we won. Though by a slim margin but our confidence ahead of the second leg will be buoyed by this victory. We are down but are not out." The Congolese are good side and but we have what it takes to eliminate them.We will surely qualify should we replicate same performance" He said

The striker was thankful to their teeming fans who turned up in their numbers to cheer them on." We are thankful to the fans for such a rousing support. I've not seen them this way in recent times. It's rather unfortunate we couldn't win massively but we still have a game to make amends.

Saddick Adams however declined to comment on why he refused to take the subsequent penalties that came after his initial miss in the early minutes of the first half
