Boateng fascinated with wishes after goal against Madrid.

Levante attacker Emmanuel Boateng is astonished by the compliments he has received from his home country following his strike against European champions Real Madrid.

The former Ghana Black Satellites star netted the equalizer for his side in the 42nd minute with a predatory strike after Sergio Ramos had given the visitors an early lead.

Boateng insists he is glad of his achievement as he has received congratulatory message for scoring against Los Blancos.

“I am feeling very good because I am receiving a lot of calls and the messages from Ghana and it has really made me happy and I am proud of myself,” Boateng told his club’s official website

“I thank God for how far he has brought me because it is not easy to score against a big team like Real Madrid, so I am really happy.”

“When I came I had some difficulties because it is really difficult to adapt in La Liga because it is one of the biggest leagues in the world, the coach (Juan Muniz) talked to me a lot and helped me to settle.”

“Now I think I am used to how they play so I am really happy and hopefully I will get a lot more chances to play more here.” He added.

The 21-year-old striker has previously played for Ghanaian second-tier side Charity Stars, as well as Portuguese outfits Rio Ave and Moreirense.
