Attobrah opens up on Iraqi move

Ghana midfielder Abraham Asiedu Attobrah has given reasons why he joined Iraqi side Al Shorta.

The former Ghana Black Satellites playmaker trained with Accra Hearts of Oak a month ago and was on the verge of joining them before the deal failed.

Attobrah pointed out that the Phobians were relaxed in the contract negotiations which made him to join the Middle East club.

“Hearts of Oak were slow in the contract negotiations, that’s why I joined Al-Shorta Club in Iraq,”Attobrah told Zylofon FM

He becomes the second Ghanaian to be signed by an Iraqi team this window following the footsteps of former Under 20 colleague Samuel Afful.

The 21-year-old midfielder has previously played for Real Sportive, New Edubiase and Belgian side Kortrijk.
