Preparations for Kotoko’s  quest to make a meaningful impact in Africa after the club’s recent abysmal performance in CAF competitions has began.

Asante Kotoko Sc started their residential camping yesterday ahead of preliminary stage of CAF Confederations cup match against Club Athletique Renaissance Aiglon Brazzaville  (CARA ) on 11th February, 2018 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

 The management of the 2017 MTN FA Cup Champions ,as part of their frantic effort and preparations  to secure qualification will want to tune the mind of the players towards the intriguing encounter with CARAm hence the need for the camp.

Asante Kotoko Sc have failed to record a win in their last three matches in  Africa Competitions .

According to sources close to management of Asante Kotoko , the players of the Porcupine Warriors will be in camp until they have finished the two hurdles of the competition.

Speaking with Kumasi based Ahoto 92.5 fm ,Edwin Okyere,  a member of Asante Kotoko communication team said”We are geared up for the match against CARA next week.  The team is in camp to ensure utmost concentration ahead of the big game ”

English trainer, Steve Polack has said that he has absolute confidence in his players and believe that they will deliver on the day to make the vociferous supporters elated.

Apart from Danlad Ibrahim, Akwasi Nti, Michael Yeboah and Frederick Boateng,who will move to Elmina  for Startime GALA competion ,the rest of the players are camping in Kumasi.
