Aduana Stars depart for Egypt




Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars are at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra ready to leave for Egypt ahead of the CAF Champions League game against Al Tahady.

The game which is slated for February 9, at the Alexandria Stadium in Cairo will see the Ghanaian battling it out in an attempt to get a win or draw against the North Africans.

Eighteen players together with members of their technical team as well as the top hierarchy of the club will leave Accra this afternoon for Cairo via Egyptian Air.

Al Tahady are using the 13,660 capacity Alexandria Stadium because of the ongoing conflict in Libya.

The life-patron and bankroller of Aduana Stars, Osagyefo Nana Agyemang-Badu has promised the players $2000 each if they beat Al Tahady.
