The Founder and Leader of Cross Miracle Evangelical International  Ministry Prophet Akwasi Sarpong,  has donated food items,  Clothes and Cash worth Two hundred thousand Ghana cedis( GHC 200,000,00) to cover 1,500 widows and aged in Accra.

The aged and Widows were drawn from Tifa Bukina, a suburb of Domi kwabayan Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Searchlight , Prophet Akwesi Sarpong , the Founder and leader of Cross miracle evangelical International ministry , revealed that the donation was the tenth in the series aside the other humanitarian activities the church has been doing in the community.

According to him, they are of the view that as many abled couples make merry,  the widows and the aged who through no fault of theirs should be supported as we all celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus ," he said. He continued that,  the church target for this year 2018 , to ensure that ,all school going age in the community are enrolled in school.

Prophet Akwasi Sarpong, during his presentation  , used the opportunity to caution Ghanaians especially Parents to stop spending their little resources on social events but rather use it to invest in their children's education .

The gesture was part of the church Cooperate social responsibility to give back to the society and help the needy in society especially underprivileged children.

He therefore called on individuals to supports and care for street children, aged, Orphans, poor and widows in the various communities that will help them to gain more blessings from Almighty God.

He revealed that Christmas was a time for merry making and it was appropriate Society reached out to the needy, especially street children. Adding that " it should not only be at Christmas time but a normal exercise for the children to know the warmth of family and have a sense of belonging.

In conclusion, Prophet Akwasi Sarpong, the General Overseer of Cross miracle evangelical International Ministry,  Admonished Ghanaians to show compassion to the needy, widows and the poor in their communities.
