Karela to partner Egyptian side Alassiouty

Karela United Football Club have entered into a partnership agreement with Egyptian topflight side, Alassiouty Sports to develop talents in an academy system in Nzema Ayinase, where the Ghanaian club is based.
The newly promoted Ghana Premier League side are keen on developing the game in the Nzemaland and the owner, Senator Cobbina Brigidi believes the partnership falls within the team’s plans of strengthening the side.
“I’m in Egypt for a partnership to develop an academy and provide a platform for them to undergo trials; if it goes well for them they progress, if not they will come to the team [of their choice]” said Senator Brigidi said.
Karela United are preparing for their maiden campaign in the 2017/18 season.
