Kevin-Prince Boateng set to take more offensive role at Eintracht Frankfurt after injured pair returned to training

Kevin-Prince Boateng is set to take a  more offensive role at Eintracht Frankfurt after duo Taleb Tawatha and Gelson Fernandes returned to training on Monday.

Coach Niko Kovač has more option in midfield ahead of their Bundesliga clash against Werder Bremen on Friday following the return of the pair.

Fernandes has been out of action since he suffered a hamstring injury but he reported to training on Monday - to give a real possibility that Boateng may act in an offensive role.

Boateng, 30, is expected to take a more offensive role at the side ahead of their league clash against Werder Bremen on Friday.
