We want a competent referee in FA Cup final - Hearts PRO

Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak Kwame Opare Addo says the club are calling on the MTN FA Cup Committee to select a competent referee for their clash with rivals Kotoko in the Final of the tournament.

Opare Addo in an interview with GNA after the mascot unveiling ceremony said they don't fear their opponent but only fear they may be cheated.

"If the Committee brings any referee who is competent enough we are ready for the match,"

Opare Addo suggested that Hearts have suffered by some poor refereeing decisions against Kotoko this season particularly in their Premier League clash in Kumasi as well as the 2017 President Cup.

The winner of the FA Cup will represent Ghana in the CAF Confideraton Cup and will receive a cash prize of GHC 150,000.

The game will be played on October 29th at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
