Ghanaian-born Claud Adjapong gets call-up to Italy U21 team

Ghanaian-born Claud Adjapong has earned an invite to the Italy U21 team ahead of their international friendly matches against Morocco and Hungary.

The 19-year-old worked his way into the Italian junior National team after impressing at his Club Sassuolo.
The defender could not make the team for the Euro U19 tournament but has eventually convinced Coach Luigi Di Biagio and earned himself a call-up for the two friendly matches.
Adjapong has been consistent for Sassuolo in the Italian Serie A so far this season.
The full-back enjoyed regular first team action when he helped Sassuolo finish seventh in the Italia Serie A last season.
