Tom Cruise Injured Doing Dangerous Stunt on Set of 'Mission: Impossible 6'

The Ethan Hunt depicter is seen landing painfully hard on the side of the building when leaping from a rooftop in London.

Tom Cruise injured himself while filming "Mission: Impossible 6". In a video obtained by TMZ, the 55-year-old actor did a dangerous stunt, leaping from one building to another but he unfortunately missed his mark and landed hard into the side of the building.

Cruise attached to a harness managed to hoist himself up after the jump but he seemed to be in pain as he limped away before collapsing next to crew members. The extent of his injury is still unclear as neither Paramount nor his team responded to a request for comment.

Tom Cruise has been known for doing his own stunts in movies. He ran down the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai for "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" and he was strapped to a moving plane at 5,000 feet for a dangerous scene in the sequel, "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation".

"People do say no, but as an actor you bring everything, physically and emotionally, to a character," he told Graham Norton back in 2014. "I'm able to do them (stunts). I've trained for 30 years doing things like that."

His co-star Simon Pegg gushed, "He's one of the last movie stars, if not the last movie star of his kind. And that's partly because we don't really know Tom Cruise. Nobody really knows Tom Cruise."

Due July 27, 2018 in the U.S., the sixth "Mission Impossible" movie is directed by Christopher McQuarrie. Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt. He is joined by returning cast like Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames and Alec Baldwin. Meanwhile, Henry Cavill is among the new additions.
