Akufo-Addo pledges gov’t support for Paapa Yankson’s funeral rites

President Nana Akufo-Addo has said government is ready to support the funeral rites of the late highlife legend, Paapa Yankson.

He made this known when a delegation led by the tourism and creative arts Minister paid a courtesy call on him at the flagstaff house.

The President directed that the funeral of the late music icon should be held at the forecourt of the state house and indicated that that government will support to give the highlife gem a fitting burial.

Final funeral rites for the music gem will be held on October 21 and 22, 2017.
