By: Jeffter Kobby Donkoh
Romelu Lukaku has sent a farewell message to Everton as he prepares to move to Manchester United while Manchester United record goal scorer, Wayne Rooney, has rejoined Everton for an undisclosed fee, 13 years after leaving the Merseyside club. Everton has confirmed Rooney will wear the number 10 shirt previously worn by Lukaku but it is unknown what position Manager, Jose Mourinho, will play the 24-year old.
Both players are forwards nonetheless and while rumors are flying around about their new clubs. Rumors have become facts; Old ties renewed and new ones formed, here’s a comprehensive comparison between Romelu Lukaku and Wayne Rooney.
