Ghana fire service (GFS) had one (1) day fire extinguisher inspection in Accra.
Chief deputy fire officer (CDFO) WILLIAM YAWSOM led the media to participate in the inspection which started from FIDELITY BANK. MR. WILLIAM said, in FIDELITY BANK, he realized that the certificate they acquired from the fire service has expired and they lacked also exit point when they experience any fire out brake in the he advised the bank executive to renew their certificate and make a room for the extinguishers

The next which was the CAPITAL BANK also had the same problem with the fire extinguisher which was not properly placed. Some of the staff doesn't know even the telephone number of GHANA FIRE SERVICE. So he said, Ghana fire service will remind the entire stakeholder from time to time.

Mr. William emphasized that, the inspection they conducted, it was only BARCLAYS BANK he was able to observed that they have a perfect conducive fire inspection. He encourage them to make sure they write the number of Ghana fire service around their banking hall to alert their customer if there is any fire out brake.

Ghana fire service will continue this inspection to combat any Hazardous situation in all the institution in Ghana.
