Maxwell Nii Adamah Plange was born on, 26 June 1989 in Accra, Ghana. He is a naturalized, Burkinabe professional footballer who plays for Portuguese club Académica de Coimbra mainly as a right winger.
Plange began his career with local Feyenoord [now West African Football Academy (WAFA)], moving to ASEC Mimosas on loan in July 2009. In the summer of 2012, following another spell with Feyenoord Ghana, he moved to Portugal and joined Sporting Clube de Portugal, initially being assigned to the reserves in the second division. He made his Primeira Liga debut in the last day of the season, playing one minute in a 4–1 away win against S.C. Beira-Mar.

On the last day of the summer transfer window of 2013, Plange moved to fellow league club Vitória de Guimarães where he played his first competitive game for his new team on 14 September, coming on as a 58th-minute substitute in a 1–0 success at Rio Ave FC. Plange later signed a two-year deal with Académica de Coimbra (also in the Portuguese top flight) on 16 July 2015. Not much has been heard about the player in recent times but, recently spotted him out and about with his buddies. Posting a picture on one his social media platforms, Maxwell Adama Nii Plange could be seen in a picture with his identical twin friends, Panin & Kakra Boakye Mensah. Panin made his professional debut in the Segunda Liga for Marítimo B on 31 August 2014 in a game against Olhanense and currently plays for a Portuguese football club based in Vizela, Braga District in LigaPro. Kakra however is a former forward for Portugese side Associação Recreativa São Martinho and is still looking for a team to play in.
All three are based in Portugal and started in Feyenoord Academy now WAFA.
