The atmosphere was charged with jubilation and excitement as the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E.) candidates reached the finishing line of their Junior High School journey.
Students were unable to conceal their joy as they drummed and danced to songs of victory on completing their three year course.
Jammyonline visited two schools in Darkuman, a suburb of Accra, to interact with some students and teachers.

At Model International School where twenty-five students were registered to take the examination, students were confident about their performance while students of Christ Ebenezer Preparatory observed that there was an effective system of organization in this year’s papers, mentioning the positive attitudes of invigilators as well as the constant encouragement received from their school authorities.

Teachers of these schools commended the authorities for ensuring the absence of question leakages and revealed that no challenges were encountered during the period, with the exception of the change in the answering of the Social Studies subject which was rather unfamiliar to some of the students.
The heads of the schools stated that they have high expectations for their students, noting the time and effort put in place to prepare each of them for the examinations and confirmed their confidence in the performance of their students.
